TG-lite is an English vocabulary learning app and website hosted at glite.es. This policy describes how we handle your data when you use the app or website.
Data we collect
Sign in with Apple / Google — when you sign in we store your account identifier and, if you share it, your email. We never see your Apple or Google password.
Guest mode — you may continue without a permanent account; guest sessions use a temporary profile on this device.
Spotify connection — if you connect Spotify, we store OAuth tokens and basic profile metadata (Spotify user id, display name, email on the Spotify account) so we can import tracks you choose. We do not store your Spotify password.
Onboarding preferences — native language, learning interests, and related choices you provide during setup.
Learning data — placement answers, estimated CEFR level, vocabulary mastery scores, and lesson progress tied to your account.
Sessions — cookies keep you signed in on the web and in the iOS app. Server logs may include IP address, user agent, and request timestamps for security and debugging.
How we use data
We use your data to authenticate you, personalize lessons, resume placement across web and iOS, and import songs you select from Spotify. We do not sell personal data or use your data for advertising.
Third parties
Apple— Sign in with Apple (iOS). Subject to Apple's privacy terms.
Google— Sign in with Google (web/iOS). Subject to Google's privacy terms.
Spotify— OAuth and Web API for track import and official previews. Subject to Spotify's privacy policy.
YouTube— embedded players for short word-in-context examples. Subject to Google/YouTube's privacy terms.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the iOS app (Account → Delete account) or by emailing support@glite.es. Deletion removes your user record, learner profile, sessions, Spotify connection, placement history, and personal lesson progress. Shared media catalog entries (song titles and derived statistics) are not deleted.
