Who we are

TG-lite is an independent technical pilot and hiring demo hosted at glite.es. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or commercially connected to Glite or glite.ai. This policy describes how data is handled in this demo environment.

Data we collect

Account information — username and password (web demo), or Sign in with Apple identifier and optional email (iOS). Language preferences (native and target language) are stored on your learner profile.
Spotify connection — if you connect Spotify, we store OAuth tokens and basic profile metadata (display name, Spotify user id) to import tracks and playlists you choose. We do not store your Spotify password.
Placement and learning data — CEFR placement answers, estimated level, vocabulary mastery scores, and generated lesson progress tied to your account.
Sessions and cookies — Django session cookies keep you signed in on the web and in the iOS app (shared cookie jar). Standard server logs may include IP address, user agent, and request timestamps for debugging.

How we use data

Data is used only to run this demo: authenticate you, personalize lessons, resume placement across web and iOS, and import songs you select from Spotify. We do not sell personal data. This pilot is not a commercial product.

Third parties

Apple— Sign in with Apple (iOS). Subject to Apple's privacy terms.
Spotify— OAuth and Web API for track import and playback tokens. Subject to Spotify's privacy policy.

Song lyrics and global media catalog data are shared across demo users; your personal account data is not.

Retention and deletion

Pilot data may be removed without notice when the demo is reset. You can delete your account at any time from the TG-lite iOS app (Account → Delete account) or by contacting the project maintainer. Deletion removes your user record, learner profile, sessions, Spotify connection, placement history, and lesson progress. Global song/media entries imported from Spotify are not deleted.
